3D printing resins are perfect for printing smaller parts that are highly detailed. Resins are used for SLA/DLP/LCD 3dD printing. Resin printing heats up the thermoset photopolymers (PP) and the result is a smooth, injection mold-esque finish. SLA 3d printing usually produces parts that are smoother and higher-resolution than FDM printed parts.
